A shot from The KISS SHOOT in Las Vegas
Hi Friends, Family and Visitors,
I have been taking photos for many years now but recently started shooting weddings and portrait sessions professionally. Photography interests me for so many reasons. Most importantly to me is capturing beauty whether it be people or the landscape outside. Life is so precious and the ability to capture important moments in time as unoriginal as it sounds is why I love my camera.
Boudoir Photography is something I recently became interested in because I think all of us women want to feel glamorous for a day. How fun to get dressed up in sexy clothing and have a photo shoot with lighting and poses found in fashion magazines. And better yet wouldn't it be great to share these photos with your boyfriend, partner or husband. Boudoir photography is up and coming and I have all the latest tricks from the Boudoir Divas who are the pioneers of this new type of photography. This blog is brand new and I am figuring out how to design it best, so please be patient it is a work in progress. Other than that I hope the pictures pique your interest in my work.
Thank you for visiting,
Anna

KISS SHOOT SHOT

On the last day in Vegas Weston and Marissa Boucher hosted the Kiss Shoot. They had two models dress up and we were allowed to take photos too. However, the copyrights of these photos belongs to them. I wanted to include this shot though because I liked their idea of using black nylons cut off at ends as an accessory. It was a fun shoot and I learned a lot again about different lighting.
Hi All,
I happened to be in Paris for spring break and had asked the Divas if I could join them for an engagement shoot that occurred on the last day of their workshop. Weston Boucher was leading this session. We took the metro all together to a bridge with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop. Weston gave us advice on how to work with a couple on an engagement shoot. One of the most important things to be aware of is how you speak with the couple. You obviously want them to feel relaxed so that the pictures don’t come out stiff looking. He mentioned some of the phrases he likes to use. He also talked about the type of composition he likes to use in order to highlight the couple. The session was very instructive and fun. At the end we all wore pink berets and danced on the bridge for a mini video whose link is “I am a Divas”.
Cheers,
Anna
I think this photo is great. The model was very brave to be in a window sill when we were 48 stories high. She had been stuck in another room all day with a back drop and was so eager to be somewhere different.
I have unfortunately had to shrink the size of this picture quite a bit to get it to fit, thus it looks a little pixely. This was taken by me when I had ten minutes alone to work with the model. She was very professional and obviously beautiful. The set-up really made her eyes stand out.

It was amazing how each of the models depending on the lighting and outfit could look so different. I really liked the effect of the video light which was used in this situation. It makes it look very sexy and moody.
